Stair renovation and cladding

We clad your existing stairs to measure. Three surfaces are three price tiers: laminate is the entry price, vinyl the middle and wood the top.

Laminate (HPL) (Entry tier)

  • High-pressure laminate, wear class 31
  • Pore-free, easy to wipe clean, colour stays pure
  • Fine brushed surface with a wood look
  • Great for white stairs and with a laminate floor

Vinyl (Middle tier)

  • Resilient, pleasantly warm and quiet underfoot
  • Resistant to water and scuffs, easy to clean
  • Also suitable for underfloor heating
  • Choose from 593 decors, the same as your floor

Wood (Top tier)

  • Natural veneer from local and exotic species
  • Real wood to look at and to touch
  • Not solid wood, so the stairs don't move or creak
  • Matches wooden windows, doors and furniture

Details you can choose

  • Edge with a nose: Tread and riser are separate pieces, the nose is rounded. LED can be hidden under the nose.
  • Edge without a nose: Tread and riser in one piece, the edge is smoothly bent. Clean look, no LED here.
  • LED lighting: Glows under every nose. You choose the brightness and colour. Best prepared in advance, before the walls are plastered.
  • White risers: A contrast to wood, make a narrow dark staircase look bigger and are easy to clean.
  • Zero step: The last step flush with the upper floor, so the stair edge continues without foreign trims.
  • Side panels and trims: Close the step at the wall and protect it from scratches and dirt.

How much does cladding one step cost?

Including installation from {L1M} per step in laminate (width up to {W1} cm), from {V1M} in vinyl and from {D1M} in wood veneer. Prices include VAT and measuring.

Which stairs can be clad?

Existing concrete, wooden and steel stairs: straight, L or U shaped and spiral. Each step is made to the measurements.

How long do I wait for a quote?

What kind of staircase can you fit?

Existing concrete, wooden and steel staircases. Every step is made exactly to size.

What is the tread made of?

The surface is click vinyl flooring in the decor you choose. We give the exact build-up in the quote.

Every staircase is a little different. We take exact measurements on site. If they differ, we adjust the price in advance and you decide whether to go ahead.
